Dr. Lee with the RMTC Graduates from Yangon, Myanmar

Since 1992, Dr. James Lee has been establishing Mission Training Centers to equip and train national Christian leaders throughout the world. In September 1992, he planted two mission training centers in Pleven and Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Currently, there are more than 60 mission training centers in Bulgaria. These centers graduated over 2,000 disciples, and in turn, they planted 112 indigenous churches throughout Bulgaria. In 1994, he expanded the mission training center ministry into Ethiopia. Graduates of six training centers throughout Ethiopia have planted over 30 churches. By the year 2000, over 100 mission training centers spread into eight different countries in the world and the graduates planted more than 200 churches.

In the beginning of 2001, Dr. James Lee established the River of Life Ministeries, Inc. to continue on with his calling to disciple indigenous Christians by establishing River Mission Training Centers (RMTCs) around the world. To date, he has planted RMTCs in Nepal, Myanmar, Colombia, Guatemala, India, Coasta Rica and Lebanon. RLM has planted 25 RMTCs and over 80 national indigenous churches. Dr. Lee is planning to establish hundreds of RMTCs throughout the world to make millions of disciples of Jesus Christ to expand the kingdom of God for the next 15 years.

The RMTC is a one-year intensive discipleship-training program. The RMTC materials have six volumes, which cover 49 different subjects to equip and train future pastors, evangelists, and missionaries for His glory. They have been translated into nine different languages.
